Properties both real and personal can be downloaded from our clients through electronic medium and uploaded into our systems. Acquisitions and/or sales of properties are requested monthly. ELLIOTT-WELLMAN, LLP utilizes an automated tax statement approval process for tracking and approving taxes. Our system is extremely thorough so each statement is verified prior to approval for correct legal description, assessed value, tax amount, tax collector, and due date. As statements are processed, a form called a Voucher for Payment of Taxes or Tax Transmittal is generated and submitted to the client for use in payment of taxes. This form includes the property locations name, location number, legal description, account number, assessed value, tax rate, date approved and date the taxes are due. Tax payment summary reports by Owner (Lender), subdivision, property location and taxing authority are provided at the end of the tax payment season.
